­­Välkomna att läsa det första utskicket av Kungl. Konsthögskolans nyhetsbrev, Mejan Public. Här presenteras öppna, publika program tillsammans med nyheter som rör våra utbildningsprogram, forskning och samarbeten. Mejan Public skickas ut tre gånger per år.

Mejan Public är, förutom ett nyhetsbrev, också namnet på den plattform för publika evenemang som äger rum på eller i samverkan med högskolan under läsåret. Det är bland annat utställningar, föreläsningar och samarbeten som vi bjuder in allmänheten till på Skeppsholmen eller var helst evenemanget äger rum. Välkomna!

Welcome to read the first issue of Royal Institute of Art's newsletter, Mejan Public. It presents open, public programmes together with news about our educational programmes, research and collaborations. Mejan Public will be sent out three times a year.

In addition to a newsletter, Mejan Public is also the name of the platform for public events that take place at or in collaboration with the institute during the academic year. These include exhibitions, lectures and collaborations, which we invite the public to at Skeppsholmen or wherever the event takes place. Welcome!

Öppna ateljéer, utställningar, performance konst och mycket mer, organiserat av över 30 studenter i högskolans lokaler. | Open studios, exhibitions, performances and more, organised by over 30 students in the premises of the institute.

⤇ Blaise Kirschner 23/11
Professorinstallation + föreläsning [ENG] om Kirschners arbete, forskning och konstnärliga praktik. Klockan 16.30 på Muralen, huvudbyggnaden. | Professor installation + lecture of Kirschner's work, research and artistic practice. At 16:30 at Muralen, main building.

Soloutställningar i studentgalleriet av avgångsstudenter, vernissage varannan fredag. | Solo exhibitions in the student gallery by graduate students, vernissage every second Friday.

En seminarieserie i samarbete med Moderna Museet och Konstfack, med Stockholms Stadsmission som värd. Kommande gäster för 2024 inkluderar Nairy Baghramian och Pope L. | A series of seminars in collaboration with Moderna Museet and Konstfack, hosted by Stockholms Stadsmission. ⤇ Alessandro Petti, prof. Architecture and Social justice
Petti belönades med Guldlejonet för bästa deltagare vid 18:e Venedigbiennalen för arkitektur | Petti was rewarded Golden Lion for the Best Participant at the 18' Venice Biennale for Architecture 2023, together with Sandi Hilal.
